X-Rap Pop®
Pop! Pop! Pop! Big poppin’. Big splashin’. Big bassin’. That’s the name of the game that the new X-Rap Pop brings to topwater. Attitude all the way baby. Featuring a deep, cupped lip and internal textured scales made famous by the X-Rap, the new X-Rap Pop delivers kerplunk pop and splash with every snap. Even the slightest tug brings the X-Rap Pop to life. If that’s not enough, the lure is built with an internal long cast system exclusive to Rapala, 3D Holographic eyes, a flash feather teaser tail and sharp-as-heck VMC® Black Nickel Hooks. The X-Rap Pop is being introduced in six patterns and in one body size, 2-3/4 in., weighing in at 3/8 oz.
X-Rap Prop®
Xxxxxxxxrrrrrr. BAAAM! That’s the incredible sound you will hear every time a bass crushes the new X-Rap Prop. Built on a 4-3/8 in. X-Rap lure body platform, the X-Rap Prop features two stainless steel props, one in the front and one in the rear, that create an 3XL-size noise and splash, while its counter-rotating design stabilizes and keeps your lure on track. Designed for long casts or short, the X-Rap Prop includes 3D holographic eyes, a flash feather teaser tail and ultra-sharp VMC® Black Nickel Hooks. For 2012, the X-Rap Prop will be introduced in six patterns.
Ultra Light Minnow & Ultra Light Shad
Here’s one promise the new Rapala Ultra Light Minnow and Ultra Light Shad intend to keep… They may be small, but they deliver big-time action. These new lures may be ultra lightweights, but they’re designed to cast incredibly long for such small baits. Their unique lip designs and ultra light bodies create an enticing, wobbling action when slowly retrieved, twitched and jerked for topwater fun, or retrieved fast for aggressive fish just under the surface. Running down to 2 feet, the Ultra Light Minnow comes in 10 new patterns for 2012 and is available in two sizes, 1-1/2 in. and 2-1/2 in. The Ultra Light Shad also comes in ten patterns, is available in one size, 1-1/2 in., allowing anglers to get down to five feet in water depth. Both lures offer the versatility to be fished for stream trout in Wisconsin’s famed waters or heart-stopping action for west coast trout. Both lures are hand-tuned and tank-tested.
Jointed Deep Husky Jerk®
Cast or troll it, the new Jointed Deep Husky Jerk is ready for action. Featuring that classic Rapala “wounded-minnow” wobble and an exaggerated tail action that fish can’t refuse, the Jointed Deep Husky Jerk runs straight and true at any speed. Available in eight patterns, the Jointed Deep Husky Jerk runs four to eight feet deep and wakes up fish with loud rattles created with its jointed body and kick-tail section. Hand tuned and tank tested, the new Jointed Deep Husky Jerk will be launched in one size, 3-1/8 in. (3/16 oz.).
